Abhinav Prakash

Abhinav Prakash currently holds the position of Deputy General Manager and Head of RND - Drug Substance & MSAT at GeneSys Biologics since September 2022, overseeing development, characterization, tech transfer, and validation processes for insulins and analogs. Prior to this role, Abhinav served as Group Leader and Head of Drug Substance for US and regulated markets at Wockhardt Ltd., focusing on technical leadership for insulin analogues. Experience also includes working as Associate Scientific Manager at Biocon Biologics Limited, leading downstream process development and characterization, and as a Research Associate at DuPont, specializing in downstream processing for various industrial products. Abhinav's career began as a Study Analyst at NDA Analytics and included a research internship at Badrilla Ltd. and the University of Leeds. Abhinav's educational background encompasses a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology.
