Anindya Sarkar

Anindya Sarkar has a diverse work experience in the fields of biologics research and development. Anindya is currently working at GeneSys Biologics as the Head of Quality Control - General Manager, overseeing the department's activities such as analytics, immunoassays, molecular biology, and microbiology. Prior to this, Anindya held various positions at different companies including Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Viatris, Mylan, Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University, and Bose Institute. Anindya'sroles ranged from group lead to manager to postdoctoral research fellow, where they focused on biosimilar characterization, analytical development, regulatory compliance, and protein structural biology. Anindya has extensive experience in quality control, laboratory management, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Anindya Sarkar attended Jadavpur University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry, Plant Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, and Transgenic development at Bose Institute. Prior to that, Sarkar attended the University of Kalyani from 1999 to 2001, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology. Before their master's degree, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry (Honours), Physics, and Mathematics at the University of Calcutta from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Sarkar has obtained various certifications in areas such as Lean Six Sigma, project management, and statistics, among others.
