Kyle Weber is a PhD candidate at Oregon State University since June 2021, focusing on research related to two-phase detonation and detonation-based propulsion applications. Prior to this role, Kyle gained design engineering experience at GENESYS Systems Integrator and KCI, Incorporated, where skills in 3D and 2D CAD were utilized for the prototyping and improvement of oven components. Previous positions at Owens Corning included participation in a manufacturing leadership program, where Kyle engineered plant improvements and led infrastructure projects, as well as an internship that focused on measurement apparatus design and safety procedures. Early experience as a mechanical engineering intern at Ti Squared Technologies involved CAD-based plant layout design and efficiency improvements in manufacturing processes. Kyle holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University, awarded in 2019.
