William Dummett

William Dummett currently serves as the Chief Privacy Officer and Deputy General Counsel at Genesys, a role held since January 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the development and maintenance of privacy policies in compliance with U.S. regulations. Previously, William Dummett held multiple positions within Genesys after its acquisition of Interactive Intelligence, including Senior Transactional Attorney, where oversight included negotiating SaaS and other technology agreements. William Dummett's legal career also includes roles as an Attorney at Hall Render, focusing on healthcare technology agreements, and at IBM, negotiating technology service agreements. William Dummett earned a JD from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from PennWest Clarion.
