Global Head, People & Culture at Genetic Signatures

Rebecca Abbatantuono has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Rebecca is currently working as the Global Head of People & Culture at Genetic Signatures since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Manager at the same company from August 2021 to September 2022.

Rebecca worked as an Organization Capability Advisor from March 2014 to September 2017, focusing on areas such as learning and development, performance management, and diversity and inclusion. Rebecca successfully implemented an Indigenous internship program and led initiatives for gender equality. Prior to this role, they served as an HR Advisor from November 2010 to March 2014, providing generalist HR expertise to the company and subsidiary.

Early in their career, Rebecca worked as an HR Specialist at Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia from July 2008 to November 2010. Rebecca also gained experience as an HR Coordinator at Hitachi Australia from July 2005 to July 2008.

Overall, Rebecca Abbatantuono has demonstrated their expertise and versatility in the field of Human Resources, as well as their passion for storytelling and illustration through their work as a Children's Book Author and Illustrator.

Rebecca Abbatantuono began their education in 1994 at Northholm Grammar, where they completed their primary and high school education until 2000. In 2002, they enrolled at Macquarie University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology, graduating in 2005. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended TAFE NSW from 2005 to 2006 and obtained a Certificate IV in Business with a focus on HR Management.
