Rodney Rockwell has a diverse work experience in various healthcare and research roles. Rodney started their career as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy from July 2010 to July 2015. Following their military service, they worked as an Epidemiology Intern at the City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District from September 2019 to December 2019. Rodney then joined the same organization as an Epidemiologist from August 2020 to April 2021. In 2022, Rodney held a role in Healthcare at the US Department of Veterans Affairs from June 2022 to September 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Laboratory Operations Coordinator at the Genetics Institute of America since September 2022.
Rodney Rockwell pursued their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2016 to 2019. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology. In 2021, Rodney enrolled at Miami Dade College, where they are currently pursuing an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist.
