Charles Zeng has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Charles started their career as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at National Yang Ming University from June 2001 to January 2004. Charles then worked as a Research Assistant at National Taiwan University Hospital from June 2007 to April 2008. Following that, they served as a Medic at Tri-Service General Hospital from August 2008 to April 2009. Charles then pursued their studies at Baylor College of Medicine, where they held two roles: Graduate Student from July 2009 to April 2016 and later as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from April 2016 to January 2019. In January 2018, Charles co-founded GENEus Medical and became the CEO. Simultaneously, they also took on the role of Vice President at Texas Taiwanese Biotechnology Association (TTBA) from January 2018 to December 2018.
Charles Zeng's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science, which they obtained from National Tsing Hua University in the years 2000 to 2004. Charles further pursued their studies at the same university, earning a Master of Science degree in Molecular Medicine from 2004 to 2006. Afterward, Charles Zeng joined Baylor College of Medicine from 2009 to 2016, where they completed their doctoral studies and obtained a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology.
