Assistant Superintendent, Administrative Services at GENEVA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

I have worked for the Geneva City School District since 2005, first as director of Technology Services, then of Technology and Human Resources, and finally as the assistant superintendent for administrative services. I am responsible for oversight of the following departments: Human Resources, Facilities Management, School Safety, and Technology Services.

I am a graduate of SUNY Oswego, with a Bachelor of Science in technology education, Nazareth College with a Master of Science in computer education, and Canisius College with an Advanced Certificate in educational administration. I served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1991 until 1997 as a helicopter mechanic and crew chief and also a sergeant of the flight line shop (in charge of 32 helicopters). I began my career in education as a middle school technology teacher at Red Jacket Middle School and later at Greece Olympia High School.

I live in a Fairport with my wife, Rachel, who is a technology teacher at Canandaigua Middle School. We have two children in the Canandaigua school district. Aviation has been a lifelong interest of mine, and I have been a pilot for the last nine years. When I’m not flying, I enjoy fishing, golfing, and watching Star Wars films with my children.
