Christelle Mestre has extensive experience in strategic planning and program management within the humanitarian and peacebuilding sectors. Currently serving as an Advisor at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining since October 2018, Christelle's previous roles include Programme Officer for West Africa at Interpeace from September 2013 to August 2018, where responsibilities encompassed project implementation, strategic advising, and donor liaison. Additionally, Christelle held various positions at Interpeace focusing on program development and gender strategies in conflict-affected regions. Prior experience includes a Ground Agent role at Swissport and research support in peacebuilding initiatives. Christelle holds a Master's degree in Socioeconomics and Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Studies and General History from the University of Geneva, along with various certifications in climate change and environmental management.
