James Harding

CEO at Genex Power

James Harding is currently the CEO of Genex Power. Prior to this, they were the Head of Business Development at Abengoa from January 2013 to December 2016. From August 2008 to June 2013, they were the General Manager Renewables at IPS Australia Pty Ltd. From August 2006 to July 2008, they were the Regional Director Asia Pacific - Green Technologies at MAN Ferrostaal AG. From January 2001 to December 2006, they were the Regional Director South East Asia at RWE Solutions AG. From January 1998 to December 2001, they were the Chief Representative Indonesia at TESSAG Industrie-Anlagen GmbH. From January 1993 to December 1998, they were the Chief Representative Indonesia at Kloeckner Industrie-Anlagen GmbH. From January 1986 to December 1993, they were the Project Manager at Kloeckner INA Industrial Plants Limited. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1986, they were an Executive, Project and Export Finance at Kleinwort Benson.

James Harding went to the University of Cambridge for their undergraduate and graduate studies, receiving a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology and an MA in the same field. James also has a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants in the UK. After working in the business world for a few years, James Harding decided to go back to school to get their MBA, specializing in International Marketing and International Finance, from the University of Leicester.
