Kristoff de Winne

Kristoff De Winne has extensive work experience in the real estate and construction industry. Kristoff currently works at Matexi as the Acquisition & Development Director, where they are responsible for the strategic cycle, market analysis, public affairs, corporate communication, business development, and strategic projects. Kristoff previously held the role of Manager Corporate Office at Matexi, where they worked closely with the CEO and was in charge of strategic projects, market analysis, and corporate communication. Before that, they led the marketing and communication department at Matexi for five years.

In addition to their role at Matexi, Kristoff has held multiple Non Executive Director positions. Kristoff served as a Non Executive Director at LetsBuild, a start-up company in the construction industry focused on collaboration and transparency on construction projects. Kristoff also held similar positions at hoplr, a start-up social network for neighborhoods; SweepBright, a company empowering real estate agencies with digital solutions; UPSI-BVS, a real estate federation; Federatie van Ontwikkelaars–Woningbouwers, a federation promoting the activities of residential real estate contractors; vzw Vicinia asbl, a knowledge center on creating and improving neighborhoods; IMMOZO, a start-up immo portal with a focus on social criteria; and Vitare NV, a social housing company.

Prior to their real estate and construction roles, Kristoff worked at The Brussels Airport Company as the Head of Airport Development and Regulation, where they were responsible for airport master planning, economic regulation, aviation development projects, landside mobility, key account management, and the Program Management Office.

Kristoff De Winne's education history begins in 1993 when they attended Ghent University and obtained a Master's degree in Sciences, with a focus on Chemistry. Kristoff then continued their studies at the University of Antwerp from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained another Master's degree, this time in Complementary Studies in Management. In 1999, Kristoff enrolled at Vlerick Business School, where they pursued an MBA in General Management, completing it in 2000. Lastly, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the University Antwerp Management School and earned a Master's degree in Real Estate.
