Dr. Jesko Thron

Dr. Jesko Thron has extensive work experience in the marketing and branding industry. Dr. Jesko currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Katjes Greenfood, where they are responsible for sourcing, screening, and developing portfolio companies. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Brand Manager at Katjes Fassin GmbH & Co. KG, overseeing the operational and strategic management of the brand Sallos.

Dr. Jesko Thron has also held positions as an Interim Chief Marketing Officer at Genius Foods, a Marketing Advisor at hellotaste, and an Advisory Board Member at VEGDOG and Haferkater. Dr. Jesko has experience as the CEO & Co-Founder of Feuer & Flamme, where they established and operated a culinary start-up concept. Dr. Jesko'sprevious experience also includes working as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, where they focused on top management consulting and various projects such as process optimizations and commercial due diligence.

Dr. Jesko Thron began their career with an internship in B2C Marketing at Henry Lambertz GmbH & Co KG.

Dr. Jesko Thron has a strong educational background in the fields of communication, marketing, and business psychology. In 2009, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Psychology at Hochschule Fresenius. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, Dr. Thron pursued a Master's degree in Marketing at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

After working for a few years, in 2011 they enrolled in The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and earned a Master's Degree in Social and Public Communication in 2012. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2015, they returned to FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg for their Doctorate in Marketing.

Aside from their formal education, Dr. Thron has also obtained additional certifications. In March 2022, they achieved the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines from the WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
