Maria Jure-Kunkel

Maria Jure-Kunkel is an accomplished leader in oncology translational research with extensive experience in both the pharmaceutical and academic sectors. Currently serving as Head of Late Stage Oncology Translational Research at Genmab since December 2018, Jure-Kunkel has previously held key roles such as Director of Immuno-Oncology Translational Medicine at MedImmune and Director of Discovery Translational Research at Bristol-Myers Squibb. An expert in immuno-oncology drug discovery and clinical biomarkers, Jure-Kunkel's academic foundation includes a PhD in Immunopathology/Virology from Cornell University and a D.V.M. from the University of Uruguay's School of Veterinary Medicine.
