Elias Quijano has a wealth of experience in the field of biotechnology. Elias began their career in 2012 as a Research Assistant and Lab Manager at Yale University. Elias then served as a Graduate Coordinator for the Science, Technology and Research Scholars (STARS) Program at Yale from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Doctoral Student and Cell Biology Teaching Assistant at Yale University School of Medicine. In 2020, they became Co-Founder and Senior Research Advisor at Gennao Bio, as well as a Blavatnik Associate at Yale Ventures, where they developed pitch decks, scientific work plans, and agreements with partner CROs alongside faculty members at Yale. In 2021, they became Co-Director of Operations at Nucleate Bio and a Bio-IT Fellow at 8VC.
Elias Quijano obtained their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Yale University between 2008 and 2012. Elias then went on to pursue an MD/PhD in Genetics at Yale University School of Medicine, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
