Jay Prakash Singh, PhD has over 18 years of experience in research and development in the fields of immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and drug discovery. Jay Prakash has worked at Yale University School of Medicine, Gennao Bio, Rafael Pharmaceuticals, Merck, The Rockefeller University, National Chemical Laboratory, and National Center for Cell Science.
In 2021, they began working as a Visiting Scientist at Yale University School of Medicine and as a Principal Scientist at Gennao Bio. In 2020, they were a Sr. Scientist (lead discovery & Translational oncology) at Rafael Pharmaceuticals, where they led the basic and translational biology programs of the company. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Sr. Scientist |PSS at Merck, where they worked on proteomics and biochemistry supporting preclinical cell line development and protein engineering activities for oncology immunotherapy. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Postdoc Associate at The Rockefeller University, where they established stable cell lines expressing mammalian proteins, developed retroviral/adenoviral mammalian expression systems, and preclinically evaluated anti-inflammatory and anti-obesity drugs. From 2009 to 2015, they were a Postdoc Associate and Postgraduate associate at Yale University School of Medicine, where they focused on the basics of human diseases such as cancer, obesity, and diabetes. From 2005 to 2009, they were a PhD Student at National Chemical Laboratory, where they worked in collaboration with other individuals from across a broad range of research backgrounds and purified NMR grade biologics and biochemicals. From 2002 to 2005, they were a Senior Research Fellow (Immunology) at National Center for Cell Science, where they developed animal models to study cell signaling events required for T-cell mediated immunity, established new protocols for immune cell purifications, and obtained research grants for the laboratory.
Jay Prakash Singh, PhD began their educational career in 2006 when they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University. From 2011 to 2015, they completed a Postdoc in Cell Signaling, Metabolism and Oncology at Yale University School of Medicine. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Good Clinical Practice from the NIDA Clinical Trial Network. Jay Prakash then completed a Postdoc in Moleculer Metabolism at The Rockefeller University in 2016.
