Ketan Patil

Ketan Patil has worked in a variety of roles in the field of molecular and cell biology. In 2022, they began working as Team Lead, Molecular and Cell Biology and Senior Scientist at Gennao Bio. In 2021, they were Team Lead, Molecular Biology and Scientist II at Twist Bioscience. In 2020, they worked as Scientist II, Team Lead, Molecular Biology, and Scientist at Abveris, exploring new strategies for high-throughput sequencing to advance rapid antibody discovery platforms. In 2016, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St. John's University, working on method development and exploring new strategies in liquid biopsy for diagnostic and prognostic biomarker discovery in Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Doctoral Fellow at St. John's University, working on their PhD dissertation in the Laboratory of Neurodegenerative Diseases, and also conducting brief lectures for laboratory courses. In 2010, they were a Research Associate II and Grad Intern at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, working on target discovery and validation research in Muscle and Metabolism department.

Ketan Patil obtained their PhD in Biological Sciences from St. John's University between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned their M.S. in Biotechnology from the same university between 2008 and 2010. Ketan started their educational journey by obtaining their B.S. in Pharmacy from Bharati Vidyapeeth between 2004 and 2008.
