Nicolás Fischer

Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices as part of a cross-functional team. Prior roles include Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, Electronics Contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, and Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, with a focus on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris Nicol also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting student labs and assessments. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
