Jacquelyn Sumer is the current Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Genocea Biosciences. Jacquelyn has also previously served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, Worldwide Hematology and Cell Therapy at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Executive Director, Head CAR T Legal at Celgene, and Executive Director, Pharmaceuticals Counsel at Novartis. From February 2021 to August 2022, they were the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at Genocea. Prior to that, they were a law clerk at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia from June 2005 to September 2006. Jacquelyn then worked as an associate at Kaye Scholer LLP from October 2006 to July 2010 and again from September 2003 to June 2005.
Jacquelyn Sumer has a Doctor of Law (JD) from Duke University School of Law, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Duke University School of Law in International Law and Legal Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Bucknell University.
