Kaspar Evertz

Kaspar has served as Executive Vice President, Commercial, since April 2014, after serving as senior consultant starting in December 2013. He leads the Intermediate Chemicals and Bioengineering Solutions business units, with P&L responsibility. From 2011 to 2013, he was at Ferrostaal AG (GmbH), as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Industrial Projects. From 2000 to 2011, he was at Basell, which later became LyondellBasell. He held multiple executive roles, most recently as Vice President, Licensing. From 1989 to 2000, he held management, engineering and research roles at BASF and its spinout Elenac.

Kaspar earned a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Konstanz, Germany; served as a research fellow at the California Institute of Technology; and is named on more than 30 patents.
