Laura Valis

Laura Valis serves as the Principal Design Researcher at Genomics England, leading design research programs focused on clinical interpretation of cancer and rare diseases since June 2021. Previously, Laura was a Senior Design Researcher at Fjord, part of Accenture Interactive, where project management and user research informed digital product design from November 2015 to May 2021. Early career experiences include roles as a Mid-weight Design Researcher, Junior Design Researcher at T-Labs, and Junior Experience Designer at yellow design | yellow lab, where Laura contributed to UX design and interactive concept development. Currently pursuing a degree in AI Ethics and Society at the University of Cambridge, Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Design from Köln International School of Design.
