Vincent Plagnol

Chief Scientific Officer at Genomics

Vincent is leading a team of data scientists and statistical geneticists working on the translation of genetic and genomic technologies to improve health care, personalised medicine and public health. He grew up in France and moved to the US for his postgraduate studies. Vincent obtained his PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Southern California. After a postdoc in Cambridge Vincent became an associate Professor at University College London in 2009. Vincent started working in the private sector in 2012 when he joined Inivata, a cancer diagnostics company in the field of circulating tumour DNA. Vincent joined Genomics plc in January 2019.
