G. Brett Robb

G. Brett Robb is a founding partner at Active Site Partners, LLC, since January 2024, and previously served as the Scientific Director of RNA & Genome Editing at New England Biolabs from 2007 to September 2023. In this role, G. Brett Robb led scientific teams in the discovery, characterization, and engineering of enzymes, notably contributing to the development of SARS-CoV2 mRNA vaccine manufacturing and advancing the CRISPR-Cas reagents market. G. Brett Robb excelled in strategic vision, team development, and mentorship, managing a team of 25 scientists and fostering collaborations with academic and industry partners. A postdoctoral research associate at the University of Massachusetts Medical School prior to this, G. Brett Robb holds a PhD in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science with honors in Genetics from Western University.
