Sajjad Makhdoomi Kaviri

Sajjad Makhdoomi Kaviri is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in power electronics and engineering education. Currently serving as Lead Power Electronics Engineer at Genoptic LED since April 2019, Sajjad previously held positions including Senior Power Electronics Engineer at the same company and Power Electronics Engineer at Sparq Systems Inc. From January 2014 to January 2019, Sajjad contributed as a Research Assistant at Queen's University EPower Lab while also serving as a Teaching Assistant there from September 2017 to December 2018. Prior experience includes working as a Power System Engineer at Nano1 Industrial Group and as a Teaching Assistant at Isfahan University of Technology. Sajjad earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University, a Master's degree in Power Systems and Electricity Markets from Isfahan University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. Educational background includes a High School Diploma in Mathematics from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad).
