Olivier VILCOT

Olivier Vilcot has a diverse work experience in the fields of optical engineering and project management. Olivier currently works as an Optical Engineer at GenSight Biologics since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Project Engineer at ov.Engi from January 2020 to October 2021.

Before that, Olivier worked as a Technical Director at Cabinets Le Visiologiste from November 2015 to August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting large ophthalmology cabinets across France. Olivier also managed teams and equipment, as well as developed internal software to facilitate cabinet administration.

Furthermore, Olivier worked as a Project Engineer at MX OPHTALMIC from November 2015 to August 2019, where they continued their project management responsibilities.

Earlier in their career, Olivier served as an Engineer Technico-Commercial at Nexter Systems from October 2013 to September 2015 and as an Optical Engineer at Thales from October 2012 to March 2013.

Olivier Vilcot completed their education at two different institutions. From 2011 to 2015, they attended the Institut d'Optique Graduate School, where they earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Optique. Additionally, from 2013 to 2015, they also studied at the Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne and obtained a Master's degree in Optique Image Vision, specializing in Ingénierie physique.
