Altair Galgana-Wood

Altair Galgana-Wood is a Design Manager at Gensler, specializing in industrial, computational, clinical lab, and cleanroom facilities since June 2022. As a member of the Texas Society of Architects Education Outreach Committee since January 2022, Altair engages in educational initiatives within the architecture community. Previously, Altair served as a Project Architect and Project Manager at Studio8 Architects, managing diverse projects with a focus on fabrication and laboratory facilities from pre-design to closeout. Altair's career began at Kirksey Architecture, progressing from an intern to an architect, gaining experience in all phases of design and contributing to the Science and Technology team. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the University of Houston, completed in 2016.
