As Co-Managing Director of Gensler Philadelphia and an Education leader for the firm's Southeast region, Chuck is immersed in the design of facilities for the students of today and tomorrow. For the past two decades, Chuck has assisted clients in academic master planning, feasibility studies, student facilities programming, and the development of planning initiatives that align with the strategic goals of the institution. He strongly believes in a consensus-driven process that relies upon engagement and feedback from the campus community.
An active member of the Society of College and University Planners, Chuck lectures both regionally and nationally on education facility design, with a particular focus on a design's ability to enhance educational outcomes. He has lead a number of significant education projects over the past decade, including work for Carnegie Mellon University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dickinson College, East Stroudsburg University, Princeton University, Skidmore College, the United States Military Academy at West Point, the University of Delaware, and the University of Pennsylvania.
An outstanding communicator and client advocate, Chuck works comfortably with multiple project stakeholders, earning the respect of owners and their representatives, consultants, and construction professionals alike.
