Ingrid Christensen

Ingrid Christensen is the Studio Director and Associate at Gensler. Ingrid has over 15 years of experience in the field of design, specializing in interior design and project management.

Christensen began their career in 1995 as an Interior Architect at Hilger, Law & Dunbar-Nasmith. Ingrid then moved to GBD Architects in 1996, where they worked as an Interior Designer for two years. In 1998, they joined Perkins+Will as an Interior Designer and remained there until 2000.

In 2000, Christensen joined The Environments Group as a Project Designer. Ingrid worked there for four years before moving to tvsdesign in 2006, where they worked their way up to Senior Designer and Associate Principal. Ingrid left tvsdesign in 2016 to join Gensler.

Ingrid Christensen received their Dipl.Ing. in Interior Architecture from FH Mainz – University of Applied Science in Germany. Ingrid is certified as a Certified Interior Designer by NCIDQ and as a Registered Interior Designer by the State of Illinois.

Their manager is Diane Hoskins, Co-CEO & Co-Chairman. They are on a team with David Briefel - Sustainability Director, Global Financial Services Design Resilience Leader, Senior Associate, Jim Stanislaski - Global Developer Design Resilience Leader, Studio Director, Senior Associate, and Joseph Brancato - Co-Chairman & Regional Managing Principal.
