Madeleine Crippen

An experienced marketing and communications leader, Maddy has focused her career on the corporate real estate and design industries. As the Southeast Regional Marketing & Communications Director, she works with local business leaders to build Gensler’s brand and amplify messaging across the communities in the region.

Maddy navigates between strategy and implementation, working diligently to provide the appropriate balance between creative thoughtfulness and focused management that gets great projects done. She is an Olympic swimmer and the skills she needed to succeed in the sport are the same skills she taps into to lead teams at Gensler: focus, perseverance, and self-confidence.

Maddy studied Communications at Villanova University and was inducted into the University’s Athletic Hall of Fame. She served on the Board of Directors for USA Swimming and was a member of the United States Olympic Committee’s Athletes Executive Committee. She currently serves on the Athletics Heritage Committee at her high school alma mater, Germantown Academy.
