Abhiram Rao

Abhiram Rao is the current Director at GentiBio. Prior to this, they were with AltPep Corporation, GentiBio, Matrix Capital Management Company, L.P., and nference. Abhiram has also worked as a machine learning engineer at Tempus Labs, Inc. from January 2020 to December 2021.

Rao has a wealth of experience in the area of population genomics. Abhiram has developed requirements for data security/processing at scale in population genomics programs worldwide. Abhiram has also worked with large marquee sequencing programs worldwide that generate some of the largest genomics data sets available today.

Rao is a Consultant with The Stanford Healthcare Consulting Group and has been so since January 2016. Abhiram is also currently pursuing their Consulting and Professional Development at Stanford University from January 2017 to December 2019.

Abhiram Rao completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Stanford University. Prior to that, they completed the Ignite Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Abhiram also holds a Master's degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor's Degree from the University at Buffalo.
