Jason B. has held a variety of roles in the test systems engineering and consulting field since 2001. π Jason began their career at VPT, Inc. as a Lead Test Engineer, where they developed an Automated Test System for more than 100 hybrid power supplies, EMI filters, and their components using LabVIEW. π Jason then moved to Blue Ridge Test, Inc. in 2007 as a Test Systems Engineer, where they deployed custom test and automation software applications for clients using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand, wrote a Biometric Login Toolkit for LabVIEW, oversaw the development of the company base software architecture, and taught advanced LabVIEW concepts to LabVIEW developers in the Lynchburg and Roanoke area LabVIEW User Groups. In 2011, Jason began working for Genuen, where they held the roles of Director of Business Systems, Director of Sales Operations, and Raleigh Business Unit Manager. In this role, they tested systems consulting, marketing, sales, quoting, operations, and project leadership. π Jason also conceived and product managed TestScript, the worldβs only bidirectional Python/LabVIEW connector. Additionally, they worked for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in 2011 as a Test Systems Consultant (through CGI Federal). In this role, they unexpectedly overhauled the sequencer that powers the V-22 Osprey hydraulic automated test system.
Jason B. completed their Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2000. In 2009, they obtained their Certified LabVIEW Architect from National Instruments and in 2017, they obtained their Inbound Certification from HubSpot.
