Matthew Cleveland

Matthew Cleveland is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in bovine sustainability and product development at Genus PLC, where Matthew has served since January 2006 in various senior roles. Currently, as Senior Director of Global Bovine Sustainability for ABS, Matthew leads the central sustainability function, establishing strategic direction and oversight for sustainability reporting and product development in the global beef and dairy sectors. Prior roles include leading ABS’ global beef genetic program and building a scientific computing function within the R&D organization. Matthew holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics from Colorado State University, and a BS in Animal Sciences from the University of Arizona.
