Paula Rodriguez Villamil

Paula Rodriguez Villamil has a diverse work experience in the field of reproductive biology. Paula has recently worked as an IVF Team Lead-Research Scientist at Genus PLC since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Embryology Lab Director at Recombinetics, Inc. from February 2018 to January 2023. Paula has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul from June 2017 to February 2018. Paula's earlier roles include being a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidade Federal do Ceará from November 2013 to December 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Professor at Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales UDCA in 2013 and as a Professor at Instituto de Reproduccion Animal Córdoba from 2009 to 2012. Paula's early career also involved serving as a Director in vitro laboratory at Biogen Argentina S.A from February 2009 to June 2012 and working as a Veterinarian at CGR Biotecnologia Reproductiva from March 2006 to February 2007.

Paula Rodriguez Villamil began their education at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they earned a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Paula then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Veterinary Sciences with a focus on Reproductive Biotechnology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2007 to 2009. Following that, they completed their Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences, specializing in Reproductive Biotechnology, at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba from 2009 to 2013. In 2016, they briefly attended the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba again to engage in Virtual Education studies.
