Daniel Avelino

Daniel Avelino, ASA, MAAA has a diverse work experience in the actuarial field. Daniel started as an Actuarial Intern at EY in 2008, then progressed to roles as an Actuarial Analyst and Senior Actuarial Analyst. Daniel later moved to Allen Bailey & Associates, Inc. as a Senior Actuarial Assistant and then a Consulting Actuary. Subsequently, they joined Continental LTC, Inc. as an Associate Actuary before taking on multiple roles at Genworth, including Director & Actuary in Projections Model Development, AVP & Production Leader in Model Development for LTC, and currently serves as the VP & LTC Valuation Leader.

Daniel Avelino earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009. In 2017, they obtained the ASA and MAAA certifications from the Society of Actuaries and American Academy of Actuaries, respectively.
