Bruce Prewit has worked in the embedded engineering field since 2011. From 2011-2014, they were an Engineer/Scientist at TenStar Technologies, where they analyzed requirements and implemented software using C, C++, and SQL programming languages on Linux operating system using QT framework. Bruce then worked as an Engineering Manager at ICSolutions from 2014-2016, where they managed a team of 6-12 engineers and implemented Agile Development Practices (Scrum). In 2016, they worked as an Embedded Firmware Engineer at 3M, where they maintained, updated, and enhanced embedded Linux software and systems. From 2017-2019, they worked as an Embedded Systems (Hardware/Firmware) Engineer at Dynamo Aviation Inc., where they designed, implemented, and tested bare-metal firmware for ARM Cortex M processors using GNU and ARM tools. Bruce then worked as a Senior Electronics Engineer at Tactual Labs Co. from 2019-2020, where they designed, implemented, and tested bare-metal firmware for ARM Cortex-M processors using open-source GNU and ARM tools. Currently, Bruce Prewit is a Senior Embedded Engineer at GXC, where they are architecting and implementing firmware API for large-scale Xilinx RFSoC/ARM 3GPP/LTE DSP system design using C language on Xilinx Petalinux (yocto) platform and utilizing Xilinx Vivado for implementing, testing, and debugging changes to FPGA.

Bruce Prewit attended the U.S. Navy Naval Nuclear Power School from 1983 to 1986 and the U.S. Navy Electronics Technician School. Bruce has no additional certifications.
