Erica Blight

Erica Blight has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in marketing and customer care. Erica is currently the Vice President of Clinical Research, Customer Care, and Marketing at SEKISUI Diagnostics, where they started in August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Global Marketing at SEKISUI Diagnostics starting in October 2019. Erica also worked at Danaher Corporation, where they served as the Senior Director Global Marketing and Sales for the Oncology Business Unit from February 2017 to June 2019. Erica has experience in building and leading teams, developing marketing strategies, and achieving revenue growth and margin improvement. Erica has been recognized for their achievements, winning several industry awards for their campaigns. Before joining Danaher Corporation, Erica worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Marketing Manager, focusing on OEM marketing, video development, and new product launch campaigns. Erica also served as a Learning and Development Training Manager and Customer Programs Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, leading a remote-based international team and managing market research and customer marketing programs. Prior to that, Erica worked as an Application Scientist at Phenix Research Products, providing technical support to customers and sales staff. Erica also had an entrepreneurial experience as the CEO of Precision Formliners, a company they founded and led in the manufacturing of artistic urethane forms. During their tenure, Erica achieved significant market share and gross profit margin growth and received recognition as a female executive of the year.

Erica Blight has a PhD in Biology, specifically in the field of molecular and cellular biology, from Duke University. Erica also holds a Business Certificate from Harvard Business Core, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. In addition, Erica earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology, General from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology, also from the University of Denver. Furthermore, Erica completed marketing coursework at Columbia College, specializing in Marketing/Marketing Management, General.
