Velda Pomales

Velda Pomales is a seasoned quality control professional with over three decades of experience in the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as a Senior QC Analyst at Sekisui Diagnostics, LLC since February 2011, Velda supervises the Critical Raw Material/Environmental Monitoring/Water Testing group and oversees the activities of the Inspection group. Prior to this role, experience includes various positions within the Diagnostics QC group at Genzyme from September 1993 to January 2011, where support was provided in multiple capacities. Velda holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, obtained between 1979 and 1984.
