Pierre Gouvin is a seasoned professional in the field of geotechnical instrumentation, serving as the Founding Member and President of Geo-Instruments since its establishment in February 2003. Under Pierre Gouvin's leadership, Geo-Instruments has developed into a leading contracting, manufacturing, and software development organization within the North American market. Prior to this, Pierre Gouvin held the position of USA Sales Manager at Roctest Ltd from June 2000 to February 2003, where responsibilities included managing sales and support for geotechnical instrumentation and building strategic partnerships. Pierre Gouvin's career also includes extensive experience as the Northeast USA Zone Manager at Durham Geo Slope Indicator from August 1989 to June 2000, focusing on sales and support for civil projects. Pierre Gouvin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics from Central Connecticut State University and participated in an Economics scholarship program at the Royal University of Malta.
