Vice President Hardware Engineering at Geo Semiconductor

Kent Goodin has worked in the semiconductor industry for over 35 years. In 1983, they began their career as a System Design Engineer for Harris Corp. / Computer Systems Division. In 1988, they moved to Weitek Corp. where they held the positions of Graphics Engineering Manager, Senior Systems Design Engineer, and Director of Engineering. In 1996, they joined Mediamatics Inc. as the Director of Engineering, and in 1999, they were promoted to General Manager at National Semiconductor/Mediamatics Division. In 2001, they moved to Parama Networks as the Vice President of VLSI Engineering. In 2005, they joined Silicon Optix Inc. as the Executive Vice President of Engineering and Technology. In 2008, they became the Executive Vice President of Engineering at Zenverge Inc. and in 2014, they joined GEO Semiconductor, Inc. as the Vice President of Hardware Engineering and the Vice President/General Manager of Consumer Products.

Kent Goodin obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville in 1982. Kent then went on to receive their Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville in 1983.
