MTS Imaging Engineer at Geo Semiconductor

Maanasa Krishnan has held a variety of roles since 2016. In 2016, they were the President of the REC Atrium, Literature Society of Rajalakshmi Engineering College, where they organized War of Words, an inter-collegiate literature fest with around 200 students participating in March 2017 and mentored and motivated fellow students on public speaking and debating. In 2019, they began working as a Research Assistant at the Multimedia Processing Laboratory, UTA, where they worked on the performance analysis of 360-degree video with EVC, VVC, and AV1 video codecs. In 2020, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant of Dr. Kamisetty R Rao for the coursework - EE5356 - Digital Image Processing (Technical Proficiency Course of Electrical Engineering department) offered in Spring 2020. Maanasa was responsible for scheduling, conducting, and grading assignments, final projects, and examinations. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as an MTS Imaging Engineer at GEO Semiconductor, Inc.

Maanasa Krishnan has a diverse educational background. Maanasa obtained their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University between 2014 and 2018. Maanasa also attended Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained their High School diploma in Physics and Mathematics. Additionally, Maanasa has obtained several certifications, including C++: Advanced Topics, Git Essential Training: The Basics, Learning Verilog for FPGA Development, Programming Foundations: APIs and Web Services, Programming Foundations: Algorithms, Internet of Things (IoT) - Raspberry Pi from LinkedIn in 2020, and Kaizen Robotics Program from LEMA LABS in 2015.
