Senior Engineer, ISP Algorithms and Firmware at Geo Semiconductor

Roshail Gerard is a Senior Engineer, ISP Algorithms and Firmware at GEO Semiconductor, Inc. since 2020. Prior to that, they were an Embedded Systems QA Intern at NEXTracker, Inc. from 2019. From 2015-2017, they were a Team Lead, Design Engineer and Junior Engineer at IIT Bombay Racing. In 2017, they were a Research Intern at the University of Michigan, where they investigated a novel technique for high yield-low impact recycling of metal chips. This work culminated in a publication titled "Metal recovery during melting of extruded machining chips" in the Journal of Cleaner Production, of which they are the third author.

Roshail Gerard obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay between 2014 and 2018. Roshail then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University from 2018 to 2020.
