Matt Fitzsimons

Matt Fitzsimons has over 15 years of experience in finance and consulting. Matt is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Geo since August 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Founding Member at Finance in Tech from June 2021. Before that, they worked as Head of Finance at Ortto from February 2020 to August 2022. Matt also served as GM Finance at Humanforce from December 2016 to February 2020. Matt began their career at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant from February 2007 to October 2012, and later at PwC as a Senior Consultant from November 2012 to June 2015 and as a Manager from July 2015 to December 2016.

Matt Fitzsimons has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Wollongong, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Matt then pursued a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Matt completed a Master's degree in Taxation at UNSW from 2012 to 2014.
