Frederik Peter Ditlevsen

Head of Department Geolab at Geo

Frederik Peter Ditlevsen is the current Head of Department Geolab at Geo. Frederik has previous experience working as a Senior Geomechanics Engineer at Maersk Oil from August 2012 to March 2018 and at Total from March 2018 to August 2020. Their responsibilities have included 1D, 2D MEM, wellbore stability prediction, drilling geomechanics evaluations, MW/ECD management/strategies, drilling performance evaluation, rock property modelling, rock physics modelling, stimulation and hydraulic fracture design support, data acquisition strategies, geomechanics modelling, and experimental geomechanics support. Prior to their work in the private sector, Ditlevsen was a Project Manager for Rock Mechanics/Rock Physics at GEO from October 2006 to July 2012 where they were responsible for coordinating large laboratory programs of both standard classification tests as well as advanced mechanical tests.

Frederik Peter Ditlevsen has a M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a B.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of Copenhagen.

They work with Jesper Lind - Head of Groundwater, Jan Blicher Hansen - Financial Director, and Lars Brønnum Fisker - Head of Geodata Aarhus. Frederik Peter Ditlevsen reports to Kim Sillemann, Managing Director.
