Matthias Denk

Matthias Denk is an experienced R&D Project Manager at Geobrugg since September 2023, focusing on flexible protection systems against natural hazards. Previously, Matthias held multiple roles including Umweltingenieur ETH and Naturgefahrenexperte at Company200.com, specializing in natural hazards, water construction, and environmental consultation since May 2019. Prior to that, Matthias served as a project leader at Meier & Partner AG and as a freelancer at Matthias Denk Environmental Services, concentrating on natural hazards and geotechnics. Additional experience includes project management in water construction and noise protection at Grünenfelder + Lorenz AG and technical project leadership at Geobrugg Protection Systems, with a strong background in research and development of protective nets for various natural events. Matthias holds a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from EPFL and has also studied at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
