GIS Solutions Engineer at Geocam

Edgar Medina's work experience includes being a GIS Solutions Engineer at GeoCam since October 2016. Before that, they worked as a GIS and Forestry Intern at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) from September 2015 to July 2016. As an intern, they sampled flora, measured water moisture content, surveyed forests, quantified tree mortality rates, and assessed the forest floor's potential for fire fuel.

Edgar Medina has a diverse educational background. Edgar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and Geography from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, spanning from 2011 to 2016.
