Phil McLeod

Phil McLeod has been working in the software development industry since 2007. Phil began their career at Straylight Studios as a Games Programmer. In 2009, they joined the University of Otago as a Professional Practice Fellow, and also began working at Areograph as the Head of Research and Development and Software Engineer. In 2012, they began lecturing at Gjøvik University College. Phil also became self-employed in 2016, working as a Software Development Consultant. In the same year, they became a Team Member and Founder at GeoCam.

Phil McLeod completed their PhD in Computer Science at the University of Otago in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the same university between 1999 and 2002.
