Nicholas Rice

Nicholas Rice is a project scientist at GEOCON, having started in February 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a senior geologist at Entek Consulting Group from July 2021 to July 2022, where skills in site surveillance, project oversight, and communication were developed. Nicholas worked as a project manager, responsible for writing proposals, scheduling, and conducting data collection. At Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc. from July 2019 to July 2021, roles included staff geologist and assistant project manager, focusing on schedule management and project oversight. A research assistant at the U.S. Geological Survey from June 2018 to May 2019 involved analyzing water quality and waste disposal data, while earlier experience as a front desk supervisor at Santa Barbara Hotel Group from January 2015 to December 2017 included guest services and inventory control. Nicholas studied geology at California State University-Sacramento from 2018 to 2019.
