Michael Stroup has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Michael currently serves as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at Geode Health, starting in October 2021. Prior to this, they were the Chief Growth Officer at Southern Veterinary Partners from August 2020 to July 2021.

From 2009 to 2020, Michael worked at United Surgical Partners International, Inc (USPI) where they held the position of Senior Vice President (SVP) of Acquisitions & Strategy. Michael was promoted to the Senior Management Team and headed USPI Strategy in 2019. During their tenure, they successfully scaled USPI's mergers and acquisitions (M&A) output and established and managed joint ventures with leading health systems and physician groups.

Before joining USPI, Michael worked as a Director at RBC Capital Markets from September 2002 to November 2008. Michael also served as an Associate at J.P. Morgan from September 2000 to April 2002. In addition, they have prior experience at Mercer Healthcare Provider Consulting as a Consultant from 1996 to 1998 and at A. Foster Higgins as an Associate from 1993 to 1996.

Michael Stroup received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Finance and Health Care from The Wharton School between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, they studied Economics at the University of Michigan.
