Matt Merrill

Matt Merrill PMP, GISP is an experienced leader in application development and technology management, currently serving as Principal, Technical Solutions at GeoDecisions since September 2022. Previously, Matt held various roles at Unboxed Training & Technology, including SVP of Software Engineering and Sr Director of Software Engineering, and led application development at GeoDecisions. With a decade-long tenure at WorldView Solutions Inc as Director of Technology, Matt established technology standards and led software development teams. Earlier experience includes managing GIS programs at the Virginia Department of Transportation and roles at Chesapeake Public Schools. Matt's educational background includes a BS in Biology from Christopher Newport University and further studies at Penn State World Campus.
