Jonathan Shomody

Jonathan Shomody has extensive experience in supply chain and procurement roles. Jonathan worked at GEODIS from 2011 to the present, starting as a Senior Program Manager before moving on to become the Director of Contract Management and eventually the Head of Procurement, Supply Chain Americas. In these roles, they have been responsible for strategic planning, sourcing, supplier relationship management, and ensuring operational performance. Before GEODIS, they worked at Emerson Electric Co. as a Program Manager for supply chain optimization from 2007 to 2010 and at Eaton Corporation in various supply chain and logistics roles from 2000 to 2007. Overall, Jonathan has demonstrated expertise in business transformation, operational excellence, and cost savings.

Jonathan Shomody pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Science & Information Systems from Penn State University from 1995 to 1999. Jonathan then went on to earn a Master's degree in Quality & Manufacturing Management (MMM) from the same institution in 1999-2000. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2020, Certified in Transportation and Logistics and Distribution (CTLD) from AST&L in 2005, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS in 2002, Eaton Business Excellence Examiner Certification in 2002, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Eaton in 2001.
