Francesco Altamura

Francesco Altamura is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business development and leadership in the maritime and cartography sectors. Currently serving as Chief Business Officer and Managing Director at GeoJunxion BV since December 2020, Francesco has previously held significant roles including Founder and Owner of Faros Consulting since May 2019, and General Manager at Navico from September 2017 to May 2019. Francesco's career encompasses various leadership positions such as Senior Manager at C-MAP, Senior Manager at Jeppesen, and Founder & CEO of Faros Consulting - Italy. With a degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Genova, Francesco began professional endeavors as a Sales Engineer and later served as a Navy Officer in the Marina Militare Italiana.
